
How many times have you walked into a store and had someone ask you “can I help you?” The problem with this question is most people say “no” and we have lost the opportunity to help them buy from us!
Just by making a small change we can dramatically improve sales, instead of asking a closed question, in other words a question that can be answered with a “yes” or a “no”, we now ask an open question “how can I help you today?”
We have now created an opportunity for our potential customer to let us know what it is that they are looking for…. they have just walked into our store haven’t they, so they must have a need or a want.
